Little Pomona is based in Bromyard in Herefordshire and is owned and run by Susanna and James Forbes. There are 120 trees producing 4 classic cider apple varieties, and the aim is to work with the best produce available to craft natural ciders and perries, including this delightful piquette-style cider pet nat made from the second pressing of Dabinett apples with the addition of water, and refermented on the skins of freshly pressed Siegerrebe grapes. Also known historically as 'ciderkin' this is a dangerously approachable glugger!
A light straw in colour with a gentle mousse. Aromas of gooseberry, peach and apricot. On the palate, light and juicy with a forward acidity making this a great food wine with cold meats, savoury crepes or a chunk of fruity cheddar cheese.
