Chateau de Pibarnon is known as the 'Petrus of Bandol' and with good reason for the wines from this 50 hectare estate are without exception of the very highest quality. Founded in 1977 by Comte Henri de Saint Victor, the vineyards have been painstakingly restored over the years to form a superb ampitheatre known as the Theatre d'Epidaure which in turn shields the vines from the Mistral. This elegant rose is a blend of Mourvedre and Cinsault grapes and works particularly well with seafood dishes.

A delicate pale pink in colour. On the nose floral aromas of orange blossom and summer peach with a suggestion of strawberries and cream. Rich and complex on the palate with a dry mineral acidity leading to an elegant, honeyed finish. Great as an aperitif; even better with crostini and green olive tapenade, grilled red mullet or pork chops braised with onions and fresh tomatoes.
